Cór na Scoile sa County Hall

Bhí Cór na Scoile i láthair ag Halla an Chontae ar an 10ú Nollaig, nuair a lasadh soilse ar an gCrann Nollag. Chan an Cór carúil do Mhéara an Chontae agus na comhairleoirí eile, roimh chruinniú Mí na Nollag.
Fuair an Cór ard-mholadh ó na daoine a bhí i láthair i Halla an Chontae agus bhí sóláistí ar fáil do gach duine roimh dul abhaile.

Bhí deis acu chomh maith roinnt grianghrafanna a thógaint timpeall ar an bhfoirgnimh.

The school choir was present at Cork County Hall on 10th December last, to perform at the official lighting of the giant Christmas Tree. The choir performed carols for the Mayor of County Cork and other councillors, prior to their monthly council meeting. The children were given a warm reception by the councillors and employees who came to hear them sing and were provided with refreshments as they left County Hall.

There was also an opportunity to have some photographs taken around the plaza of the County Hall to end a memorable visit.

On Thursday llth December the school choir performed with Majella Cullagh and Breffni Horgan at a Carol Concert in St. Francis Church in aid of Brú Columbanus. This was the choir’s second time to perform at this annual event. In 2007 the choir performed with Cara Ó Sullivan at the same venue.
