Building work on the new Spás Súgartha in school is at an advanced stage and it looks great so far!
Some manufactured pieces of equipment have yet to be installed and when they are and the finishing touches completed, then an inspection will need to be done on the area. When this is complete, children will be able to use and enjoy the area.
When the Playspace is in use, it will give pupils more space to play and to be active which is an important consideration for children today.
We hear much about the importance of being active in the media and also the focus on childrens mental health.
Children using the Playspace will have various opportunities to be active, but equally will have the chance just to sit and talk to their friends or play whatever game they wish in an area surrounded by nature.
